New Bethany, a local nonprofit that provides nutritious food access, housing, and social services, announced The Morning Call Top Workplaces have awarded it a Top Workplaces 2024 honor. This list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling Respected & Supported, Enabled to Grow, and Empowered to Execute, to name a few.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they allow employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”

New Bethany has seen rapid growth in its clients and workforce over the past few years.

“This designation as a Top Workplace speaks to the hard work, relentless dedication and spirit of each team member,” said New Bethany’s Executive Director Marc Rittle. “We are committed to ensuring New Bethany remains a place where community members are supported, and our staff thrives.”

The nonprofit also received The Morning Call’s Top Workplace Meaningfulness award in 2023.
