Rosemarie C. Lister, MPH, has dedicated her career to improving community health and connecting people to the care, services and resources they need to thrive. With more than 25 years of experience in public health and over a decade at St. Luke’s University Health Network, Rosemarie maintains a deep understanding of how to engage communities, identify local strengths and foster sustainable solutions – a mindset she brings to her role as a board member at New Bethany.
As a Lehigh Valley resident for more than three decades, Rosemarie has witnessed New Bethany’s impact in the Bethlehem community firsthand. The organization’s ongoing partnership with St. Luke’s Community Health has shown her the power of New Bethany’s mission to create a welcoming space where neighbors can regroup, gain skills and access the opportunities they need to thrive.
“New Bethany aligns with my passion for serving our local communities while engaging the community in what they know best: how to maximize strengths and help each other succeed,” Rosemarie said.
As a board member, Rosemarie hopes to help the community better understand the power of New Bethany’s dignity-first approach to supporting health and well-being for our neighbors. She looks forward to drawing on her experience in public health and community engagement to strengthen the organization’s impact and partnerships, ensuring residents have reliable access to the supports they need.
In her free time, Rosemarie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, children, new grandchild and friends. One of her favorite things about the Lehigh Valley is the breathtaking views of the region’s rolling hills.
