For almost 20 years, the Delaney Family has been volunteering their time with New Bethany by participating in the organization’s ‘adopt-a-family’ initiative during its Transitional Housing Program’s (THP) annual holiday party.
In addition to providing gifts, snacks and games for the children during 2023’s holiday celebration, which took place on December 17, Mr. Delaney dressed up as Santa Claus to distribute the gifts to each child and take individual pictures, which were provided to the family.
“We are profoundly grateful for the unwavering dedication and generosity of the Delaney Family, who have been a source of inspiration and joy for a decade now during our transitional housing program’s annual Christmas Party,” said New Bethany’s Residential Service Director Lupita Bonilla. “Their commitment to providing gifts and warm clothes to all the children in our program exemplifies the true spirit of giving, and their impact on these young lives is immeasurable.”
New Bethany’s THP is one of the few facilities in the region that supports family-based candidates, accepting any sex, gender and multi-parent households. Residents receive immediate housing assistance with the goal of finding permanent housing.
We at New Bethany are extremely grateful for the Delaney Family’s continued support and yearly efforts in assisting our THP’s annual holiday celebration.
