This is the third year the nonprofit has been honored with a Top Workplace Award in the small employers category.
New Bethany, Inc., a local nonprofit that provides nutritious food access, housing and social services, announced The Morning Call has awarded it a Top Workplace 2025 honor. This list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The 25-question survey asks employees for their feedback on such factors as pay and benefits, direction, leadership, meaningfulness and appreciation. Energage scores companies based on the responses.
“Every day, New Bethany’s staff embodies our mission to offer hope and support to those experiencing difficulties in Lehigh Valley, and this recognition reflects not only our commitment to our community but also the collaborative and supportive environment we’ve cultivated within our organization,” said New Bethany’s Executive Director Marc Rittle. “We are honored to be acknowledged among many esteemed organizations and remain dedicated in our efforts to make a positive impact in the community.”
New Bethany has seen rapid growth in its clients and workforce over the past few years. Most recently, the organization announced five promotions to support this recent expansion in February 2025. The nonprofit also received The Morning Call’s Top Workplace award in 2023 and 2024.
