United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley and the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation created the Critical Support Fund to provide rapid relief for families facing food insecurity or in need of other emergency services.
With more than 40% of local residents living paycheck to paycheck and over 106,000 relying on SNAP benefits, rising costs and funding gaps have strained the region’s charitable food network.
This fund helps nonprofit food providers, including New Bethany, keep shelves stocked and ensure food reaches the neighbors who need it most
